Full Biography.

Graduating with a Masters from The Royal Northern College of Music in 2018, under the tuition of Eira Lynn Jones, Becki performs regularly as a soloist and orchestral performer, working with conductors such as Yan Cober, Peter Stark, Clark Rendell and Mark Herron.

Passionate about working alongside composers to develop new music for the harp, Becki’s standout experiences include: performing the work of Tansy Davies at The Wigmore Hall and premiering Amir Konjani’s Anima Projection.  Becki worked extensively with the composer Paul Patterson and showcased his harp solo Lizards’ as part of the World Harp Congress in Hong Kong.  Currently, as part of the Chroma Harp Duo, Becki actively commissions, creates and performs new music written for two harps. This has led to performances with BBC Radio 3, Leeds International concert season and Buxton International Festival.

This love of new music and exploration has motivated a current project funded by Arts Council England to explore the use of electronics with the harp in order to write and record her own new works. This has been combined with the RPS enterprise fund, which has enabled specific training in recording and utilising live electronics.

Becki is a dedicated teacher and holds positions at Radley College, St Edwards Oxford, Christ Church Cathedral School, Chandlings and Summer Fields School, in addition to her private teaching timetable. Adapting to each individual student, Becki has a 100% success rate in ABRSM music exams and Trinity London exams, as well as preparing students for concerts, competitions and scholarships.

Becki has a passion to see music impact lives with hope and joy. She is honoured to have worked with Live Music Now, Epiphany Music, Streetwise Opera and Music Action International.
